The ski area in Les Contamines boasts exceptional snow conditions. Varied exposure is  the guarantee of good quality skiing. North slopes in powder, south slopes in transformed snow, you can, on the same day, enjoy varied and fantastic snow conditions.

OFF-PISTE AREA

From the top of the ski lifts (altitude 2,485 m), it is possible to enjoy a choice of  long off-piste descents almost all season. Also, discover a number of itineraries in the most secret corners of the Beaufortain range using the ski lifts at first followed by a short climb with skins. Enjoy a taste of freedom on some remarkable runs.

We recommend that you seek advice from our mountain  professionals (guides, ski patrol). Remember to check the weather forecast and snow conditions and always carry an  ARVA, shovel, and probe.

The ski lift company proposes a  pass that gives access to either the Montjoie or Gorge  gondola plus one ride up the Roselette lift. Departure before 10:00: €19

Ski Touring

Have a try! Discover ski-touring along an easy itinerary: a short climb with skins followed by a great downhill run. Level required: minimum class 2 ESF.

½ day : 75€  / full day : 110€

Off-Piste Skiing

If you have a correct level of skiing (class 2 minimum), then why not try some safe off-piste skiing, in Les Contamines or one of the surrounding resorts, accompanied by a professional.

1/2 day in Les Contamines (3 to 8 people)  : 75€ per person

Full day in Les Contamines or elsewhere (3 to 8 people) : 110€ per person

Prices do not include lift passes and equipment.

Le Lay - Le Signal ski touring route

Escape freely on this marked and secure route specially designed for this practice!
Between the Montjoie gondola and Le Signal, you can take advantage of this 4km route and 700m of elevation gain.
And for the descent, no problem: you can take the open slopes to go down to Le Lay.

The route is accessible between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Access is prohibited after 4 p.m. and at night, for security reasons

Insurance is recommended for downhill skiing and ski touring. Without insurance, you may be asked to pay a financial contribution if you are taken care of by a rescuer.
