Monday, August 4: Screening of "Ibex, the Mountain Watcher" by Guillaume Poyet in the animation space at 8:30 p.m.
Followed by a discussion with the nature reserve team, this film was partly shot in the nature reserves of Haute-Savoie and the Mont-Blanc region (52 minutes, produced by Les Fims en vrac). In the heart of the Alps, an animal has made this ecosystem its kingdom. From the heights of the snow-capped mountains, at an altitude of over two or three thousand meters, the ibex watches over breathtakingly beautiful landscapes. But for several years, as a true guardian of the place, it has witnessed upheavals that impact its domain and all the biodiversity that depends on it. In this seemingly immutable universe, a young goat and her family face numerous challenges. Will they be able to face them?
