Notre-Dame de la Gorge

This path, which is accessible to everyone, will
take you along the Bon Nant river, between the two hillsides
with the village's hamlets nestled on each side.
You will be able to explore the old farms you’ll
come across as you emerge from a grove or a glade
on the path from Les Praz, before reaching the
Notre-Dame de la Gorge site where the very beautiful
church – a true baroque art jewel – has
stood since 1699. (open every day).
Le Crêt
Degree of difficulty:
a technical passage at the beginning of the trail, then
easy.

The routes include a loop inside the Nature Reserve and three signposted
variants. This is an especially lovely site for walking either on foot or on
snowshoes. After a quick climb at the beginning, you will follow the track
into a haven of peace and silence, where the shapes sculpted out of the snow will
combine with the farms and the forest as you come out into an isolated
glade. You will even find an old bread oven in the hameau du Chosal. For the
return trip, you can either take the shuttle service at La Villette or Tresse
or continue along your way, it’s up to you!
Colombaz
Degree of difficulty: easy
Highest altitude: 1,500 m
Start: hamlet of Le Baptieu
Time: 2h
An ideal jaunt taking you off to the snow-covered mountain pastures at an altitude of 1,500 metres. A magnificent panoramic view over the whole of the Mont-Blanc massif, the summit of which you will be able to see between the Dômes de Miage and the Aiguille de Bionnasay. Do not go any further than the first houses in Colombaz.
