SPRING
Mont Blanc country base camp.
Technical workshops on 15th May 2008 in Les Contamines-Montjoie and Saint-Gervais. Professional workshops.
Themes: in the morning, the tour of the Mont-Blanc (report and exchanges), in the afternoon, the mountains and new technologies.
On 14th and 15th June there will be a hiking festival at the Passy Plaine Joux site (walking, new technologies).

>Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th December , 1st Hannibal Trophy . First dog sleddge race of the winter for the French championship. 7 and 14 km sprints races.
Saturday 29 race in the evening and in the morning Sunday 30.
>Monday 31st December, New Year's Eve with torlight descent, exhibition and hot wine on the village centre place. From 9.30 pm, « Boots party » on the village place, midnight: fireworks.
January
> FIS World Cup Freestyle Skiing Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th January
For the 6th year in a row the resort of Les Contamines-Montjoie will organize, on 12 th and 13 th of January 2008, two World Cup stages in skicross and halfpipe.
The first skicross race of the 2008 World Cup will be open at the foot of the Mont-Blanc.
With two stages, this French World Cup date is “THE freestyle meeting” of the winter with an exceptional show with the best riders of the world.
– Saturday 12th January, Skicross on the Montjoie slope.
– Sunday 13th January, in night, Super pipe World Cup.

« Contadrénaline festival ».
Three days of freestyle snow sports in the village centre. For beginners as well as more experienced snow sport fans, come and share the joys of skiing and snowboarding.
- Tuesday 19th Freestyle show, VTT trial with the VTT Winter Tour (www.event-performance.fr) in the village centre and JIB demonstrations on the Loyers run.
- 20th February, Dauphiné Libéré Round, cross-country race at the Nordic Park.
- Thursday 21st from 10 am, meeting point on the Tierces X Zone for a Slopestyle contest. Open to children from 12 years old.
From 8 to 10 pm at the Loyers X-Zone Big Air by night. Material test on the ski area with Dainese.

> Wednesday 27th February on the Loyers slope the 6th Snow Festival, musical fireworks show. The union of winter sounds and lights of, including demonstrations in all categories of snow sports, presented by various actors of the village, beginning at 8.30 pm . To finish, a giant bonfire and hot wine is offered by the resort. |
