COL DU JOLY via COLOMBAZ

Start from Le Baptieu near the Le Lay cable car and follow a track that zigzags up the side of Mont-Joly.
Reach the chalets de Colombaz (1480 m) where you’ll have a lovely view of the Mont-Blanc range.
Outward walk: 1 hour from Le Baptieu.
Carry on towards the col where the path passes a number of barns.
Arrive at the monument on the col (1996 m).
Outward walk: 2h50 from Le Baptieu.
