If you love nature, then you must visit the unique, magical setting of les lacs Jovets while you are in Les Contamines-Montjoie.
From Notre-Dame de la Gorge, take the Roman road towards Nant Borrant.
Go past the la Balme refuge and head towards plan Jovet.
Leave the col du Bonhomme track and turn left. Cross two streams, go past a sheepfold and follow the right bank of the lacs Jovet reservoir.
