The lake is part of the Pontet Leisure Park. It is a haven of peace with family activities in a 30-hectare park at the end of the valley. A typical mountain environment containing a full range of leisure facilities: tennis, golf, laser shot, riding centre, mini-golf, pedalos, fishing, children’s games, adventure trail, theme trails, climbing, summer ski jump … All that was missing, until now, was somewhere to swim and sunbathe.

There is an entry fee, and supervision and maintenance services are provided. It is a natural lake, covering 3500 m2 and is maximum 180 cm deep. The heating system is also natural : the water flows gently into a second, smaller, shallower pool well exposed to the sun, to reach a temperature between 19 and 25 degrees. The sandy beaches slope steadily down to the water; a shallow area is always useful for small children and there is a footbridge to cross the pool; the remaining areas are covered in grass.

The south-facing beach offers wonderful views across the lake, the golf practice range, the end of the valley and the surrounding peaks. The trees around the lake offer shade for the more sensitive swimmer to sun.The lifeguards and receptionists will be pleased to welcome you at the lakeside chalet or in the leisure park.

It is a quiet place for family activities. 3500 m2 of supervised swimming areas for children, with sand and grass beaches, in a protected 30-hectare area.
