The village is the departure point for a great number of walks and longer hikes along forest footpaths and across varied terrain. There are more than 120 kilometres of sign-posted paths and trails.

Whether you are a hiker or a mountain bike fanatic, enjoy a ride by cable-car towards the surrounding summits, restaurants and footpaths.
There is a lake at the top of the Gorge lift. Hire pedal boats, play ping-pong and mini-golf or enjoy a pleasant lunch at the restaurant.
The summit of the Signal lift is the departure point for numerous hikes. Snacks are available.
Both cable-cars run 7 days a week.

Hiking with a donkey means hiking light. A donkey will carry your luggage, your tent, your fishing rod etc.
